I’m Lia Musgrave, and I’m a sports reporter turned digital content creator currently working for the XFL in my hometown of Dallas, Texas. I’ve spent the last 7 years traveling all over the U.S. to cover collegiate and professional football, men’s & women’s basketball, lacrosse, drafts, media days, and recruiting – both in front of the camera and behind the scenes.

Some girls daydream about becoming ballerinas and princesses. Me? My dream as an eight-year-old girl was to become the first female referee in the NFL. Sadly, someone beat me to it! While my aspirations have changed since then, my love of sports and competitive nature remains the driving force behind every professional move I make. My career in sports media has been challenging, rewarding, and exciting! While I know my journey is only just beginning, I am incredibly grateful to my mentors and for the amazing opportunities that have come my way. I’m thrilled to be doing what I love every day in my hometown of Dallas, and I can’t wait to see where this winding road takes me next.
